"My friends and I were just wandering about the cold streets of Philly and we're starving until we chanced upon the sign of KUNG FU HOTPOT so we went in without hesitation! And boyyyyy were we in for a treat! Mala soupbase is amazing and must try! Spicy enough to leave you sweating yet not too numbing that you can't taste your food! Perfect to indulge in during winter. They have a decent selection of none spicy soup bases too! Good selection of drinks to pair with as well! With your favourite Chinese spread! (wang lao ji during the meal, wang zai niu nai after!) They have cute little booths too and the decor brings you back to china! Friendly service staff and they take your coats for you so it doesn't smell! Good value for money. 10/10 would come again!"

"Def one of the best hotpot places hands down. $45 and you get unlimited meat. We also got our pick of 8 specialty proteins such as wagyu and prawn, AND we got a lobster. You can get unlimited drinks and veggies as well. Soup base was perfect. Service was superb. It is BYOB if you care which worked great for us."

"This is THE best hotpot location in the entire Philadelphia area and I genuinely mean that. As a hotpot enthusiast, I've been to this location over 20+ times and have enjoyed it every single time. This biggest thing for me is the BROTH. A lot of other hotpot places have really thin, watered down broth. Theirs is so so savory and flavorful to the point where you don't need to rely on sauces. The selection is great. Service is great. Almost want to gatekeep because this place is that good."

"I've been coming to Kungfu Hotpot since it first opened, and it's hands down my favorite hot pot spot in Philly. The quality of the food is consistently excellent, the ingredients are always fresh, and the service is amazing every single time. The complimentary drinks are such a great bonus and really set this place apart. I never get tired of coming back. highly recommend to anyone looking for great hot pot and an even better experience! "Amazing hotpot spot in Chinatown. Very quality meat and seafood options. The sashimi options are good as well. For 4, you get a lobster. Soft drinks are included and BYO made it even better. Timed seating but we had no problem with it. Service was great! The cooked food bar was really good as well. The best AYCE hotpot in Philly!"

"First timers, little skeptical because we had to go into a building and onto an elevator but once arrived at restaurant floor pleasantly surprised. We did all you can eat and it was plenty of food. All you can drink, plenty of tasty drinks to try! My fav was this peach drink, and the grape drink. Our two broths were a tomato base and Sichuan spicy, together they were a perfect mix but by itself the sichuan spicy was VERY spicy. Paired with the dipping sauce delicious. Service was great. Food came out very fast and servers were on top of water refills as well as broth refills, they notice it getting low and came over to refill without ask. Food was fresh! Especially the seafood, which is always appreciated. We went much later in the evening, still had a nice sized crowd! No lines by the salad bar or meat bar. My only complaints.. they don't have kimchi. Which is ok, I just love having it with my hotpot meals. Also, they do not sell wine and spirits."
